FRANKiE4 Footwear has been recognized for Product Excellence in the World Brand Awards 2017. The World Brand Award for Product Excellence [PXA] recognizes products of exceptional quality offering a point of difference from their competitors.
Australian label FRANKiE4 Footwear was created by Podiatrist and Physiotherapist, turned footwear designer, Caroline McCulloch. FRANKiE4 Footwear offers a fashionable option to women who require foot support and cushioning. The result is on trend designs that embodies FRANKiE4’s core strengths as a brand, namely a combination of modern style and innovative design.
The sole, footbed and upper components are integral to the comfort of a FRANKiE4 shoe and have been designed by Caroline, with input from her husband who is also a Podiatrist. With body mechanics in mind, the designs of each of these components are aimed to alleviate and prevent foot pain all without the look of a chunky orthopedic shoe.
FRANKiE4 footwear boasts a biomechanical Functional Footbed. The footbeds are designed to support the foot’s heel and arch and provide cushioning needed for walking on hard surfaces. One of the reasons people suffer from sore feet is that we simply weren’t designed to walk and stand on hard surfaces for extended periods of time. That’s why the Functional Footbeds, combined with specially designed soles, provide a superior level of cushioning.
The FRANKiE4 Soles are designed to provide a great foundation for standing and walking. The soles are dual density polyurethane to provide support and cushioning all whilst being light weight. The design of the soles helps facilitate good foot positioning and biomechanics.
Patented Custom Fit System enables a customer to adjust the width fitting of the shoe without having to buy special wide or narrow shoes. This enables the customer to adjust the shoe specifically to each foot. It allows for women who have one foot bigger than the other to utilise the footbeds as required. For women who suffer from swelling, they can adjust the footbeds as needed to reduce their level of swelling.
FRANKiE4 Footwear is subject to the following testing during the manufacturing stage to ensure quality: sole and shoe flexing; top piece and sole abrasion; leather pup; sole pulling; and heel and sole attachment.
