LexisNexis – Lexis® Draft has been recognized for Product Excellence in the World Business Awards 2016. The World Business Award for Product Excellence recognizes products and services of exceptional quality offering a point of difference from their competitors.
Lexis® Draft, created by LexisNexis®, helps protect the lawyer’s reputation and raises both the drafting quality and efficiency. With 85% of lawyers spending over 2 hours a day drafting documents, products that can help speed up that process, avoid repetitive and menial tasks and increase accuracy to give peace of mind is certainly not a luxury, but an essential tool.
Lexis Draft and Lexis Draft Pro give users access to a wide range of analytical and editing tools designed specifically for the legal market. By giving users all the tools they need for fast, accurate and precise legal drafting and by reducing manual tasks inherent in their drafting workflow, Lexis Draft saves time and allows users to streamline work. Lexis Draft range is used for legal proofreading, internal collaboration, analytical and legal research, language review, and editorial review. Lexis Draft Pro offers an additional language review feature which analyses sentences and provides suggestions to improve readability and clarity of text. With results displayed side-by-side within the document or email, Lexis Draft works where lawyers work, so they do not need to break their thought process.
The Analyse and Get Cited Docs functions of Lexis Draft encrypt all information sent to and from LexisNexis servers in compliance with industry standards for electronic data privacy and integrity of content. Subsequently, it is not possible for others to view the information being communicated in any attempted ‘hacking’ of communications. No information is stored on LexisNexis servers, and with regard to the proofreading and language review functions, all scans are performed locally on the user’s device and data is not transferred anywhere.
